Hi! I’m Mimi, founder of The Budding Cook and mother of two really cute boys, ages 10 and 5. I have a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Boston University and later received a culinary degree from the Art Institute. Growing up with parents who had lived in countries all over the world was a big advantage for my sisters and me when it came to dinner time. My parents are both great cooks and spent a lot of time in the kitchen always working on new recipes they had found. All that cooking rubbed off on me. Now as a mom, my mission is to pass on the passion for cooking and tasting new flavors to my own sons. The Budding Cook is an extension of that mission to other kids, in the hopes that some of that cooking joy will be rubbed off on them too.
